The E-Index concept is a revolutionary assessment Index that identifies, quantifies, and measures the current role of ICT for the purpose of providing essential data, knowledge, and direction for organizations. Communities use the E-Index due to its high predictability to:
- contribute to the stabilization of the traditional economy through Information and Communication Technologies
- assist migration to the Knowledge Based Economy through the use of existing and new skills and infrastructure
- provide information for the direction and guidance of strategic investments and policy development
- provide and maintain an environment that encourages innovation.
